czerskii, Sparus swinhonis Berg [L. S.] 1915:558, Fig. [Ezhegodnik, Zoologicheskago Muzeya Imperatorskoi Akademii Nauk v. 19 (no. 4) (for 1914); ref. 14995] Mouth of Tumen River, North Korea. Syntypes: (8) ZIN 16936 (5, lost). •Synonym of Sparus swinhonis (Günther 1874), but a valid subspecies as described -- (Berg 1949:1050 [ref. 20662]). •Synonym of Acanthopagrus schlegelii (Bleeker 1854), but a valid subspecies as described -- (Sokolovskaya et al. 1998:11 [ref. 24670]). •Tentatively valid as Acanthopagrus czerskii (Berg 1914) -- (Dolganov et al. 2008:221 [ref. 29802]). •Synonym of Acanthopagrus schlegelii (Bleeker 1854) -- (Parin 2003:S10 [ref. 28536], Iwatsuki & Carpenter 2006:13 [ref. 28673], Parin et al. 2014:367 [ref. 33547], Parenti 2019:71 [ref. 36892]). Current status: Synonym of Acanthopagrus schlegelii (Bleeker 1854). Sparidae. Distribution: Western North Pacific (if valid). Habitat: brackish, marine.
