Original genus should have been spelled Tetraodon. •Valid as Tetraodon miurus Boulenger 1902 -- (Roberts 1986:435 [ref. 6223], Poll & Gosse 1995:105 [ref. 24781], Ebert 2001:24 [ref. 25494], Munene et al. 2021:26 [ref. 39283], Stiassny et al. 2021:1688 [ref. 39000]). Current status: Valid as Tetraodon miurus Boulenger 1902. Tetraodontidae. Distribution: Western-central Africa: Congo River basin (Democratic Republic of Congo). Habitat: freshwater.
