Type catalog: Kawarada et al. 2020:19 [ref. 37443]. •Valid as Lycenchelys maculata Toyoshima 1985 -- (Anderson 1994:117 [ref. 21438], Fedorov 1995:130 [ref. 21958], Nakabo 2000:1035 [ref. 25182], Nakabo 2002:1035 [ref. 26193], Anderson & Fedorov 2004:17 [ref. 27603], Shinohara & Anderson 2007:64 [ref. 29111], Balushkin et al. 2011:980 [ref. 32449], Parin et al. 2014:400 [ref. 33547], Thiel et al. 2018:52 [ref. 35743], Kawarada et al. 2020:19 [ref. 37443]). Current status: Valid as Lycenchelys maculata Toyoshima 1985. Zoarcidae: Lycodinae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: Pacific coast of Kuril Islands (Russia) and northern Japan. Habitat: marine.
