F.] 1985:188, Figs. 16, 30 [Records of the Australian Museum v. 36 (no 4); ref. 5859] Mangrove swamp in creek, 10 miles west of Lauri, Fiji Islands, 18°14'48"S, 178°04'E, depth 0-1 meter. Holotype: ROM 43041. Paratypes: AMS I.24324-001 [ex ROM 43402] (3), ROM 43042 (6), USNM 235990 (1). •Valid as Parioglossus triquetrus Rennis & Hoese 1985 -- (Suzuki & Senou 1994:286 [ref. 21557], Larson 2001:3608 [ref. 26296], Williams & Lecchini 2004:2 [ref. 27684], Randall 2005:565 [ref. 28239], Keith et al. 2004:343 [ref. 28060], Wang & Winterbottom 2006:26 [ref. 28502], Suzuki et al. 2010:31 [ref. 30805], Parenti 2021:403 [ref. 38603]). Current status: Valid as Parioglossus triquetrus Rennis & Hoese 1985. Gobiidae: Ptereleotrinae. Distribution: Southwestern Pacific: Fiji endemic. Habitat: brackish.
