Original genus is correctly Nemacheilus. •Valid as Triplophysa wuweiensis (Li & Chang 1974) -- (Zhu 1989:90 [ref. 17744], Wu & Wu 1992:181 [ref. 21205], Kottelat 2012:132 [ref. 32367], Li et al. 2015:423 [ref. 33642], Ye et al. 2015:61 [ref. 33808], Zhang et al. 2016:145 [ref. 34477]). Current status: Valid as Triplophysa wuweiensis (Li & Chang 1974). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: Xida River drainage, upper Shiyang River basin, Gansu Province, China. Habitat: freshwater.
