Holotype: USNM 92346. Paratypes: USNM 93370-79 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 1, 1, 3). Type catalog: Smith 1994:11-12 [ref. 21917]. •Valid as Silvesterina parvibranchialis Fowler 1934 -- (Smith 1994:11 [ref. 21917] but genus probably should by Bathyuroconger). •Valid as Bathyuroconger parvibranchialis (Fowler 1934) -- (Smith 1999:1686 [ref. 24661], Ho et al. 2015:145 [ref. 34130], Smith et al. 2018:161 [ref. 36043], Misawa et al. 2020:270 [ref. 38138]). Current status: Valid as Bathyuroconger parvibranchialis (Fowler 1934). Congridae: Congrinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: Indonesia east to Philippines, north to Taiwan and Japan. Habitat: marine.
