Current status: Valid as Chilorhinus platyrhynchus (Norman 1922). Chlopsidae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: East Africa and Farqhar Islands (Seychelles) east to Hawaiian Islands (U.S.A.) and French Polynesia, north to Taiwan, south to northern Australia. Habitat: marine.
