Holotype: BMNH 1939.5.24.651. Paratypes: BMNH 1939.5.24.652-653 (2). Should be spelled Dysomma zanzibarense. •Synonym of Dysomma anguillare Barnard 1923 -- (Robins & Robins 1989:246 [ref. 13287], Ho et al. 2015:91 [ref. 34124], Fricke et al. 2018:5 [ref. 35780]). Current status: Synonym of Dysomma anguillare Barnard 1923. Synaphobranchidae: Ilyophinae. Habitat: marine.
