Objectively invalid; preoccupied by Lotella marginata Günther 1878, replaced by Lotella limbata Ogilby 1886 and by Lotella macleayi Rendahl 1920. Name apparently should be rhacina when in Lotella, based on "Gadum rhacinum" as used by Forster and Gadus rhacinus on p. xxvii. •Synonym of Lotella rhacina (Forster 1801) -- (Paulin 1983:98 [ref. 5459], Paxton et al. 1989:301 [ref. 12442] as rhacinus, Paxton et al. 2006:613 [ref. 28995]). 1°Homonym.
