Current status: Valid as Boraras urophthalmoides (Kottelat 1991). Danionidae: Rasborinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Mae Klong, Chao Phraya and Mekong River basins, Malay Peninsula, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
