O.] 1979:72, Fig. [Deutsche Killifisch Gemeinschaft Journal v. 11 (no. 5); ref. 20540] Swamp west of Kikambala, about 15 kilometers north of Mombasa, in the lowlands of eastern Kenya by the Indian Ocean, ca. 3°48'33.3"S, 39°46'13.5"E. Holotype: BMNH 1979.6.12.1. Paratypes: BMNH 1979.6.12.2-5 (4); MRAC 74-48-P-24 (1), 79-07-P-163-171 (9); ZSM 24531 (5). Type catalog: Neumann 2011:271 [ref. 31652]. •Valid as Nothobranchius interruptus Wildekamp & Berkenkamp 1979 -- (Wildekamp et al. 1986:266 [ref. 6198], Seegers 1997:16 [ref. 23895], Lazara 2001:221 [ref. 25711], Seegers et al. 2003:40 [ref. 28087], Valdesalici 2007:61 [ref. 29287], Neumann 2008:31 [ref. 30291], Valdesalici & Hengstler 2008:190 [ref. 29898], Costa 2017:42 [ref. 35059]). Current status: Valid as Nothobranchius interruptus Wildekamp & Berkenkamp 1979. Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: Kenya. Habitat: freshwater.
