poliaki, Aphyosemion (Chromaphyosemion) Amiet [J.-L.] 1991:89, Figs. 1b, 6-8 [Ichthyological Exploration of Freshwaters v. 2 (no. 1); ref. 20000] 56 kilometers west-northwest of Tiko, Tamben, Province of Sud-Ouest, Cameroon. Holotype: MNHN 1988-1143. Paratypes: Amiet coll. (1, 7, 8). •Questionably distinct from Chromaphyosemion volcanum (Radda & Wildekamp 1977) -- (Völker et al. 2007:2 [ref. 29147]). •Valid as Chromaphyosemion poliaki (Amiet 1991) -- (Sonnenberg 2000:86 [ref. 26135], Legros et al. 2005:17 [ref. 28303], Sonnenberg 2007:3 [ref. 29286], van der Zee et al. 2018:88 [ref. 35718]). •Valid as Aphyosemion poliaki Amiet 1991 -- (Wildekamp 1993:251 [ref. 26378], Legros 2000:8 [ref. 34970], Lazara 2001:28 [ref. 25711], van der Zee et al. 2007:157 [ref. 30034], Pohlmann 2009:35 [ref. 30191], Agnèse et al. 2013:520 [ref. 32730]). Current status: Valid as Aphyosemion poliaki Amiet 1991. Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: West-central Africa: Cameroon. Habitat: freshwater.
