R.] 1989:74, Fig. 51 [Memoirs of the California Academy of Sciences No. 14; ref. 6439] Sungai Sekumpai, a small forest tributary of the Sungai Pinoh, 23 kilometerssouth of Nangapinoh, Indonesia. Holotype: MZB 3997. Paratypes: BMNH 1982.3.29.81-82 (2); CAS 49288 (4), 49289 (2); MZB 3378 (1), 3379; RMNH 28852 (2); USNM 230230 (4). •Valid as Rasbora ennealepis Roberts 1989 -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:46 [ref. 23448], Kottelat 1995:60 [ref. 21728], Doi 1997:12 [ref. 22832], Parenti & Lim 2005:184 [ref. 28285], Liao et al. 2009:[12] [ref. 30521], Lumbantobing 2010:645 [ref. 31097], Liao et al. 2010:166 [ref. 30521], Kottelat 2013:152 [ref. 32989], Lumbantobing 2014:22 [ref. 33163], Sholihah et al. 2020:3 [ref. 37317]). Current status: Valid as Rasbora ennealepis Roberts 1989. Danionidae: Rasborinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Indonesia. Habitat: freshwater.
