Stream in rainforest, western central Cameroon (3°53'N, 10°40'E). Holotype: NMW. Current status: Valid as Aphyosemion amoenum Radda & Pürzl 1976. Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: West-central Africa: southern Cameroon endemic. Habitat: freshwater.
