moense, Aphyosemion mirabile Radda [A. C.] 1970:60, Fig. [Aquaria: Österreichische Zeitschrift für Vivaristik v. 4 (no. 4); ref. 20514] Large affluent of Mo River, on the way from Bamenda to Mamfe, between Kendem and Noumba, southwestern Cameroon, 5°47'N, 9°43'E. Holotype: NMW 5955 or 5956. Paratypes: NMW 5957 (10). Original as moënse. Also described as new by Radda 1971:82 [ref. 31303]. •Synonym of Aphyosemion mirabile Radda 1970 -- (Wildekamp et al. 1986:225 [ref. 6198]). •Synonym of Fundulopanchax mirabilis (Radda 1970), but a valid subspecies as described -- (Wildekamp 1996:187 [ref. 23649], Lazara 2001:132 [ref. 25711]). •Valid as Fundulopanchax moensis (Radda 1970) -- (Berkenkamp 2003:55 [ref. 27548], van der Zee et al. 2007:123 [ref. 30034]). Current status: Valid as Fundulopanchax moensis (Radda 1970). Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: West-central Africa: Cameroon. Habitat: freshwater.
