Generic classification of this species is in need of revision, as Gilbertidia Berg 1898 is now treated as a junior synonym of Psychrolutes Günther 1861, based on the placement of its type species. •Valid as Gilbertidia dolganovi Mandrytsa 1993 -- (Parin et al. 2002:S93 [ref. 28300], Parin et al. 2014:301 [ref. 33547]). •Valid as Psychrolutes dolganovi (Mandrytsa 1993) -- (Nazarkin et al. 2014:177 [ref. 33578]).
