Current status: Valid as Oregonichthys kalawatseti Markle, Pearsons & Bills 1991. Leuciscidae: Pogonichthyinae. Distribution: North America: Umpqua River basin, Oregon (U.S.A.) endemic. Habitat: freshwater.
