Lectotype: ZISP 30501. Type catalog: Vasil'eva et al. 2001:25 [ref. 25714]. Original genus is correctly Nemacheilus. Prokofiev 2001:212 [ref. 26612] lists a holotype as ZISP 30501, but that is incorrect -- see Prokofiev 2009:891 [ref. 30604]. Prokofiev 2009:891, footnote, indicates that ZIN 30501 should be considered the lectotype. •Valid as Dzihunia ilan (Turdakov 1936) -- (Prokofiev 2001:212 [ref. 26612], Prokofiev 2003:57 [ref. 28098], Prokofiev 2009:891 [ref. 30604], Prokofiev 2017:266 [ref. 35630], Sheraliev & Kayumova 2022:36 [ref. 39437], Sheraliev & Kayumova 2024:191 [ref. 41652]).
