Current status: Valid as Hoplunnis similis Smith 1989. Nettastomatidae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Bahamas and Florida (U.S.A.) south to southeastern Brazil, including Caribbean Sea. IUCN (2022): Least Concern. Habitat: marine.
