Paratypes: BMNH 1992.11.17.1 [ex NRM] (1), NRM 12330 (6). •Valid as Orthochromis kalungwishiensis (Greenwood & Kullander 1994) -- (De Vos & Seegers 1998:376 [ref. 23662], Schedel et al. 2014:147 [ref. 33459], Schedel et al. 2018:336 [ref. 36087]). Current status: Valid as Orthochromis kalungwishiensis (Greenwood & Kullander 1994). Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Eastern Africa: Kalungwishi River, Zambia. Habitat: freshwater.
