P.] 1992:216, Figs. 9-10 [Raffles Bulletin of Zoology v. 40 (no. 2); ref. 21291] Stream at 34-kilometer mark on road from Sungai Besar to Tonjong Malim, Sungai Bernam basin, Selangor, Malaysia. Holotype: ZRC 14938. Paratypes: CMK 7382 (2), 8033 (6); ZRC 648 (19), 2276 (1), 14939-66 (21), 18729 (2). •Valid as Lepidocephalichthys tomaculum Kottelat & Lim 1992 -- (Doi 1997:14 [ref. 22832], Kottelat & Tan 2008:70 [ref. 29956], Havird & Page 2010:143 [ref. 30739], Kottelat 2012:34 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:180 [ref. 32989], Kottelat 2017:713 [ref. 35678], Ng et al. 2019:520 [ref. 36606]). Current status: Valid as Lepidocephalichthys tomaculum Kottelat & Lim 1992. Cobitidae. Distribution: Malaya (Malaysia) and Sumatra (Indonesia). Habitat: freshwater.
