Holotype: BMNH 1936.4.6.20. Paratypes: BMNH 1936.4.21-26 (6), TAU [= SMNHTAU] 3007-3011 (5), plus non-type material. •Valid as Mirogrex terraesanctae (Steinitz 1952), but a valid subspecies as described -- (Goren 1974:75 [ref. 7502]). •Valid as Acanthobrama hulensis (Goren, Fishelson & Trewavas 1973) -- (Krupp & Schneider 1989:354 [ref. 13651], Khalaf 2013:4 [ref. 37897]). •Valid as Mirogrex hulensis Goren, Fishelson & Trewavas 1973 -- (Çiçek et al. 2023:460 [ref. 40601], Çiçek et al. 2024:235 [ref. 40789]). Current status: Valid as Mirogrex hulensis Goren, Fishelson & Trewavas 1973. Leuciscidae: Leuciscinae. Distribution: Middle East: Lake Hula (Huleh), Jordan River basin (Israel) (extinct). Habitat: freshwater.
