robinsi, Myxine Wisner [R. L.] & McMillan [C. B.] 1995:534 [Fishery Bulletin v. 93 (no. 3); ref. 21653] Atlantic, 11°37'N, 60°50'W, depth 783-1281 meters. Holotype: SIO 90-149 [ex UMML 29270]. Paratypes: MCZ 101239 [ex UMML 22807] (1); SIO 90-149 (1); USNM 325213 [ex UMML 29877] (1). Name corrected by Fernholm 1998:35 [ref. 23976] on Art. 31.1.2 of the Code. Article 32 does not include this as a mandatory change and the spelling robinsi can be maintained. But I believe robinsorsum can be considered as in prevailing usage, and it is suggested that the spelling robinsorum be used. •Valid as Myxine robinsorum Wisner & McMillan 1995 -- (Fernholm 1998:35, 41 [ref. 23976], Mok & Kuo 2001:295 [ref. 25547], Møller et al. 2005:379 [ref. 28233], Knapp et al. 2011:405 [ref. 37507], Angulo & Del Moral-Flores 2016:114 [ref. 34472]). Current status: Valid as Myxine robinsorum Wisner & McMillan 1995. Myxinidae: Myxininae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Caribbean Sea. Habitat: marine.
