Current status: Valid as Trimma rubromaculatum Allen & Munday 1995. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: Indonesia east to Philippines and New Ireland (Papua New Guinea), south to Solomon Islands. Habitat: marine.
