F.] 1994:107, Fig. 1 [Journal of the Bombay Natural History Society v. 91 (pt 1); ref. 22067] Kalinadi at Sunderi, about 7 kilometers east of Karwar, Karnataka, southern India. Holotype: ZSI uncat. Paratypes: To be placed at ZSI (17). •Valid as Puntius crescentus Yazdani & Singh 1994 -- (Yadav 2000:40 [ref. 25661], Yadav 2003:12 [ref. 27711], Pethiyagoda et al. 2012:73 [ref. 32071]). Current status: Valid as Puntius crescentus Yazdani & Singh 1994. Cyprinidae: Smiliogastrinae. Distribution: India. Habitat: freshwater.
