Appeared as Alborella maxima, but from the context it is clear that Alborella was not used as a genus, but as a species of Alburnus. •Synonym of Alburnus alburnus (Linnaeus 1758) -- (Kottelat 1997:46 [ref. 22952]). •Valid as Alburnus maxima Fatio 1882 -- (Buj et al. 2010:131[ref. 30888], Lorenzoni et al. 2019:251 [ref. 37108] with question).
