Skopje. v. 3 (no. 5); ref. 7431] Istocka Reka brook, neat Istok, and Rastavicki Pateek brook, Ohrid-Drim-Skadar system, Serbia. Holotype: Author's coll. (apparently lost). Paratypes: Author's coll. (10). •Synonym of Eudontomyzon mariae (Berg 1931) -- (Holčík & Renaud 1986:165 [ref. 24822], Naseka et al. 2009:17 [ref. 30402], Renaud 2011:41 [ref. 31770] with question). •Valid as Eudontomyzon stankokaramani Karaman 1974 -- (Kottelat 1997:26 [ref. 22952], Kottelat & Freyhof 2007:37 [ref. 29996], Lang et al. 2009:48 [ref. 31599], Renaud & Economidis 2010:37 [ref. 30894], Pereira et al. 2021:[10] 1991 [ref. 40490], Shumka et al. 2023:38 [ref. 40747]). Current status: Valid as Eudontomyzon stankokaramani Karaman 1974. Petromyzontidae. Distribution: Southeastern Europe: Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro. Habitat: freshwater.
