Neotype designated by Vladykov & Follett 1958:54 [ref. 12288]. •Synonym of Lampetra ayresii (Günther 1870) -- (Scott & Crossman 1998:55 [ref. 24570] as ayresi, Renaud 2011:57 [ref. 31770]). 1°Homonym.
