Alabama, LSUMZ, MMNS, MSU, NLU, SAU, TU, UF, UAIC, UAMZ, UMMZ, UNOVC, USNM, UT. •Valid as Percina kathae Thompson 1997 -- (Ross et al. 2001:503 [ref. 25978], Nelson et al. 2004:137 [ref. 27807], Boschung & Mayden 2004:584 [ref. 27995], Williams et al. 2007:11 [ref. 29253], Scharpf 2008:38 [ref. 30399], Page & Burr 2011:531 [ref. 31215], Page et al. 2013:141 [ref. 32708], Near et al. 2017:303 [ref. 35622]). Current status: Valid as Percina kathae Thompson 1997. Percidae: Etheostomatinae. Distribution: Southeastern U.S.A.: Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and southeastern Tennessee. Habitat: freshwater.
