Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:238 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Farlowella odontotumulus Retzer & Page 1997 -- (Isbrücker 2001:27 [ref. 25653], Isbrücker 2002:16 [ref. 27178], Ferraris in Reis et al. 2003:333 [ref. 27061], Retzer 2006:65 [ref. 28957], Ferraris 2007:238 [ref. 29155], Barriga Salazar 2014:112 [ref. 35745]). Current status: Valid as Farlowella odontotumulus Retzer & Page 1997. Loricariidae: Loricariinae. Distribution: Aguarico River basin in Ecuador and Mavaca River basin in Venezuela: Ecuador and Venezuela. Habitat: freshwater.
