Holotype: SPNRI 910093 [? MSINR]. Paratypes: SPNRI 9100137 (1, allotype), 910095-9100180 (86), 9200146 (1). Name spelled polypfasciata once on p. 11 but eight other times as polyfasciata. •Valid as Triplophysa polyfasciata Ding 1996 -- (Kottelat 2012:130 [ref. 32367], Zhang et al. 2016:142 [ref. 34477]). Current status: Valid as Triplophysa polyfasciata Ding 1996. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: Upper Min Jiang River, Sichuan and Gansu Provinces, southern China. Habitat: freshwater.
