Holotype (unique): NMNZ P13409. Males unknown. •Valid as Oneirodes haplonema Stewart & Pietsch 1998 -- (Pietsch 2009:414 [ref. 30766], Prokofiev 2014:382 [ref. 33470]). Current status: Valid as Oneirodes haplonema Stewart & Pietsch 1998. Oneirodidae. Distribution: New Zealand:Tasman Sea (2 specimens). Habitat: marine.
