As Bangfaia zonata in caption to Fig. 134, and in Bangfaia in text on p. 96; Bangfaia apparently left in by mistake and not intended as a new genus as Kottelat referred his species to Serpenticobitis Roberts 1997. •Valid as Serpenticobitis zonata Kottelat 1998 -- (Kottelat 2001:93 [ref. 25780], Kottelat 2012:73 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:198 [ref. 32989], Kottelat 2015:45 [ref. 33971]). Current status: Valid as Serpenticobitis zonata Kottelat 1998. Serpenticobitidae. Distribution: Xe Bangfai and Mekong basin, Laos. Habitat: freshwater.
