Holotype: CAS 94486 (mistakenly published as CAS 94485). Paratypes: CAS 94487-93 (39, 5, 26, 9, 14, 46, 129), 94495 (3). •Valid as Poropuntius genyognathus Roberts 1998 -- (Kottelat 2013:144 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Poropuntius genyognathus Roberts 1998. Cyprinidae: Cyprininae. Distribution: Myanmar. Habitat: freshwater.
