Current status: Valid as Stiphodon zebrinus Watson, Allen & Kottelat 1998. Oxudercidae: Sicydiinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: eastern Indonesia [supposed to be amphidromous]. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
