Current status: Valid as Dibranchus cracens Bradbury, McCosker & Long 1999. Ogcocephalidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Peru and Galapagos Islands (Ecuador). IUCN (2023): Least Concern. Habitat: marine.
