Holotype: NMV A3405. Paratypes: AMS E3583 (1), E3585 (1), E3586 (1), I.15975-036 (1), I.8711-006 (3); CAS 79576 [ex NMV A6191] (4); CSIRO H 2604-02 (1), H 2605-03 (1), H 2607-01 (1), H 2618-04 (1); NMV A803 (2), A3405 (2), A7108 (5 of 7). Correct spelling of the genus is Coelorinchus. •Valid as Caelorinchus amydrozosterus Iwamoto & Williams 1999 -- (Hutchins 2001:23 [ref. 25847], Iwamoto et al. 2004:199 [ref. 27643], Bray et al. 2006:584 [ref. 29065]). •Valid as Coelorinchus amydrozosterus Iwamoto & Williams 1999 -- (Iwamoto & Graham 2008:142 [ref. 29641], Iwamoto & McMillan 2008:325 [ref. 30636], Williams et al. 2018:99 [ref. 36359]). Current status: Valid as Coelorinchus amydrozosterus Iwamoto & Williams 1999. Macrouridae. Distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean, southwestern Pacific: southern Australia, north to Western Australia. Habitat: marine.
