Psilotris is feminine, so species should be amblyrhyncha if an adjective. •Valid as Psilotris amblyrhynchus Smith & Baldwin 1999 -- (Murdy & Hoese 2003:1794 [ref. 27111], Smith et al. 2003:64 [ref. 27621], Van Tassell 2011:155 [ref. 31732], Lobel & Lobel 2011:50 [ref. 31774]). •Valid as Carrigobius amblyrhynchus (Smith & Baldwin 1999) -- (Tornabene et al. 2016:13 [ref. 34435], Parenti 2021:262 [ref. 38603], Page et al. 2023:121 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Carrigobius amblyrhynchus (Smith & Baldwin 1999). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Belize endemic. IUCN (2015): Data Deficient as Psilotris amblyrhynchus.
