(10); NRM 44799 (15); ZRC 45297 (10). •Valid as Bachydanio roseus (Fang & Kullander 2000) -- (Kottelat 2013:83 [ref. 32989], Taki et al. 2021:90 [ref. 39830]). •Valid as Danio roseus Fang & Kottelat 2000 -- (Fang 2001:17 [ref. 25285], Kottelat 2001:49 [ref. 25780], Fang et al. 2009:16 [ref. 29983], Kullander & Fang 2009:47 [ref. 30285], Nguyen et al. 2010:66 [ref. 32043], Kullander & Britz 2015:246 [ref. 33764], Fu et al. 2021:9568 [ref. 39347] as rosea). Current status: Valid as Danio roseus Fang & Kottelat 2000. Danionidae: Danioninae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Mekong River system (Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and Yunnan/China). Habitat: freshwater.
