Current status: Valid as Lampanyctus bristori (Zahuranec 2000). Myctophidae: Lampanyctinae. Distribution: North Pacific: Marianas and Japan east to Washington (U.S.A.) and Pacific coast of southern Baja California Sur (Mexico), including Hawaiian Islands. Habitat: marine.
