Current status: Valid as Helicophagus leptorhynchus Ng & Kottelat 2000. Pangasiidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Mekong and Chao Phraya River basins, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
