corsula, Bagrus Valenciennes [A.] in Cuvier & Valenciennes 1840:408 (or 419) [Histoire naturelle des poissons v. 14; ref. 4882] 22 miles northeast of Sylhet on Sylhet-Shillong highway, Sharighat bazaar, Suarma (Meghna) drainage, Bangladesh. Neotype: UMMZ 208726. Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:89 [ref. 29155]. See account of Pimelodus corsula (Hamilton 1822). Neotype designated by Ng & Ferraris 2000:132 [ref. 25041]. •Synonym of Mystus menoda (Hamilton 1822) -- (Jayaram & Sanyal 2003:75 [ref. 26894] dating to 1839, Jayaram 2006:60 [ref. 28762]). •Objective synonym of Hemibagrus menoda (Hamilton 1822) -- (Ng & Ferraris 2000:130 [ref. 25041], Ferraris 2007:89 [ref. 29155], Ng & Kottelat 2013:224 [ref. 32495], Ng & Kottelat 2013:221 [ref. 32495]). Current status: Synonym of Hemibagrus menoda (Hamilton 1822). Bagridae. Habitat: freshwater.
