Holotype (unique): MCZ 64537. •Valid as Psednos gelatinosus Chernova 2001 -- (Chernova & Stein 2002:760 [ref. 26224], Chernova et al. 2004:47 [ref. 27592]). Current status: Valid as Psednos gelatinosus Chernova 2001. Liparidae. Distribution: Western North Atlantic; off Greenland; known only from the holotype from midwater. Habitat: marine.
