V.] 2001:502, Fig. 13 [Bulletin of the Museum of Comparative Zoology v. 155 (no. 10); ref. 25345] Southwestern Indian Ocean, 31°35'S, 65°08'E, depth 0-350 meters over 1428 meters. Holotype (unique): USNM 200488 (disintegrated). •Valid as Psednos steini Chernova 2001 -- (Chernova & Stein 2002:760 [ref. 26224], Andriashev 2003:397 [ref. 26955], Chernova et al. 2004:49 [ref. 27592], Stein 2005:20 [ref. 28392]). Current status: Valid as Psednos steini Chernova 2001. Liparidae. Distribution: Southwestern Indian Ocean: northern part of Crozet basin; known only from the holotype from midwater. Habitat: marine.
