Holotype: MUMF 2250/1A. Paratypes: MUMF 2250/30A (30). •Valid as Lepidocephalichthys manipurensis Arunkumar 2000 -- (Havird & Page 2010:149 [ref. 30739]). •Synonym of Lepidocephalichthys micropogon (Blyth 1860) -- (Kottelat 2012:34 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:180 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Lepidocephalichthys micropogon (Blyth 1860). Cobitidae. Distribution: India. Habitat: freshwater.
