Holotype (unique): CSIRO H 1576-02. •Valid as Paraliparis anthracinus Stein, Chernova & Andriashev 2001 -- (Chernova et al. 2004:33 [ref. 27592], Hoese et al. 2006:956 [ref. 29047]). Current status: Valid as Paraliparis anthracinus Stein, Chernova & Andriashev 2001. Liparidae. Distribution: Off Tasmania, Australia; known only from the holotype. Habitat: marine.
