boholensis, Acropoma Yamanoue [Y.] & Matsuura [K.] 2002:21, Figs. 1, 2A, 3A, 4 [Ichthyological Research v. 49 (no. 1); ref. 25952] Dumaguete city market, Negros Island, Philippines (probably 40-70 kilometers south of Dumaguete). Holotype: USNM 232332. Paratypes: USNM 362367 (1, partially dissected). Genus Acropoma is neuter; therefore mandatory correction to boholense. •Valid as Acropoma boholense Yamanoue & Matsuura 2002 (often seen as boholensis) -- (Okamoto & Ida 2002:281 [ref. 26338], Yamanoue & Toda 2008:200 [ref. 29613], Okamoto 2014:9 [ref. 33346], Okamoto & Golani 2017:[13] [ref. 35510], Okamoto et al. 2019:46 [ref. 36782], Okamoto et al. 2021:[10] [ref. 38164]). Current status: Valid as Acropoma boholense Yamanoue & Matsuura 2002. Acropomatidae. Distribution: Western Pacific Ocean: Bohol Sea and off northwestern Luzon, South China Sea (Philippines). Habitat: marine.
