Paratypes: SAIAB [formerly RUSI] 63337-43 (1 ea.), 63345-46 (1, 1); SAM 35668-69 (1, 1); USNM 364374-75 (1, 1). •Valid as Pavoclinus caeruleopunctatus Zsilavecz 2001 -- (Heemstra & Heemstra 2004:391 [ref. 28072], Patzner et al. 2009:467 [ref. 30396], Holleman 2022:401 [ref. 39961]). Current status: Valid as Pavoclinus caeruleopunctatus Zsilavecz 2001. Clinidae. Distribution: Southeastern Atlantic, southwestern Indian Ocean: Western Cape (South Africa). Habitat: marine.
