Holotype: CAS 47290. Paratypes: CAS 217162 (1), FMNH 56793 (2). Plus non-type material. Type catalog: Ferraris et al. 2017:[18] [ref. 35236]. •Valid as Gymnotus henni Albert, Crampton & Maldonado-Ocampo 2003 -- (Crampton & Albert 2003:2 [ref. 27433], Maldonado-Ocampo & Albert 2004:2 [ref. 27978], Crampton et al. 2005:99 [ref. 28092], Milhomem et al. 2012:804 [ref. 31815], Alda et al. 2013:655 [ref. 32749], Ferraris et al. 2017:[18] [ref. 35236], DoNascimiento et al. 2017:65 [ref. 35633], Craig et al. 2019:79 [ref. 37060] in subgenus Tigre). Current status: Valid as Gymnotus henni Albert, Crampton & Maldonado-Ocampo 2003. Gymnotidae: Gymnotinae. Distribution: Pacific drainages of Panama and Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.
