Combined with a neuter genus, the adjective should be dicropotamicum. •Valid as Cyanocharax dicropotamicus Malabarba & Weitzman 2003 -- (Casciotta et al. 2012:39 [ref. 32076], Protogino & Miquelarena 2012:581 [ref. 32123]). •Valid as Diapoma dicropotamicum (Malabarba & Weitzman 2003) -- (Thomaz et al. 2015:Add. 5 [ref. 33893] as dicropotamicus, Bertaco et al. 2016:413 [ref. 34561] as dicropotamicus). Current status: Valid as Diapoma dicropotamicum (Malabarba & Weitzman 2003). Stevardiidae: Diapominae. Distribution: South America: northern tributaries of the Jacuí River, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
